got to ski area at 7:50am. Usually not a problem. Today the place was packed and I ended up in lot #5. They were wicked busy. |

I must have been over on Sosman trail when Pepper was heading down. Just missed them. LOL |

As I was getting snowshoes on, a trail runner came down. I broke trail to the summit. As I came back off the summit, group of kids went by bare booting (but they had snowshoes?). Trail from top of ridge to summit was drifted. After today, not a problem. As I came back from Sosman side trip, I ran into Brian T. another NH chapter leader. On the way down it seemed that every other group was using snowshoes. Trail should pack tonight. It was cold and windy but a great day. It is nice to see younger folks winter hiking. |
