Comments
Comments: Zealand Rd. is snow free. Used MSR snowshoes the entire way on Hale Brook Trail. A couple of areas of exposed rocks at bottom of trail. Tricky on steep side slope. Snow was soft but would be easy to slide down. Managed fine with MSRs but went slow. Crampons could be useful in this area. Great afternoon to be out before the rain.
