Drove up 2.3 miles up French Hill Road and parked outside locked gate at junction with French Hill Road Extension (plowed, but gated). |

Bryan and Zack, who were here 2 weeks ago, described it well. First 1.5 miles were plowed (wore microspikes). Next 1.5 miles were a wide open woods road to a log landing. Next 0.5 mi. was on a logging road with regrowth that climbed to the HOL / col. From here, only 0.5 to Chick, and 0.25 mi. to South. Easy grades throughout.
