all water crossings were easy, either bridged or step over. |

huge scary widowmaker (few miles in) hanging over trail looks like it would be a big job to remove. |

All the trails today were superhighways, completely packed with a wide, stable monorail. After hiking Liberty and Flume with Rick Simmons and finishing early I headed to Garfield.
I spoke with a few hikers that did Twins, GH and Garf and they indicated that snowshoes weren't necessary.
No views, light winds, beautiful snowcovered trees, easy fast road walk. Great solo hike, elated to get peak #573 of my Grid.
