Redlining and North Kinsman winter trip. From the lot up to North Kinsman is a white sidewalk. Could've barebooted probably, but wore spikes to minimize any slipping. Snowshoes down Kinsmand Pond Trail. There is a decently consolidated foot bed broken out, but 6-12" of powder on top. A few people had barebooted this and postholed/tore up a lot of it. You can't tell me 2.5 miles of that was fun. It was a friggin' partay at the hut when i came back by around 1300. Very warm day for February, but things weren't melting. |
