Comments
Comments: The only trail section that was not well traveled was Carter/Moriah from North Carter Trial to North Carter Summit. Old tracks were apparent north of North Carter, thought there was no evidence of recent travel. I used snowshoes the entire way. Light traction would have been okay on the lower sections. Snowshoes are essential higher up.

I did four short bushwhacks: the highpoint of the Imp Face bump (w/bryan); Mt. Lethe Summit; the southwest bump on South Carter; and the Wild River Wilderness highpoint. Snow was supportive in many places, but there were also many traps.
