Date of Hike: Saturday, February 1, 2020
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking for a couple cars on NH Route 18/135. Arriving as the 3rd car, I parked on the side of the road and I think I was legal. This is on the same road as the Littleton Regional Hospital, so watching for 'H' signs may be helpful. If you reach the hospital, you passed it on the left about a 1/4 mile back. There are signs at the trailhead clearly identifying it. Most likely what will grab your attention first is other hiker's cars parked there.

Comments
Comments: Ideal for spiking. I bare booted it, and did twice the work. If you bare boot in the packed down choppy middle, you have to tighten up extra leg muscles to avoid slipping. And while you can solve that by utilizing all the unconsolidated snow on the side, then you're trudging. Don't be like me and keep saying, 'It's only .7!!'. Put your spikes on and free your eyes from the trail and let them roam.
Nice little spot. Picnic table on top, benches along the way.
