Water Crossing Notes: A few on Mount Shaw trail were fairly easy to cross. One larger crossing was snow bridged but just barely.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: No blazes on first 0.4 miles of Mt Shaw trail. Somewhat understandable considering private property but somewhat confusing with side trails. Took a while to fine the blue blazes leading from Big Ball (Tate Mtn) to Black Snout.

Comments
Comments: Mt Shaw (red blaze), Italian (green red blaze), Big Ball Mountain (blue blaze), High Ridge

Micro spikes all day. Did a counter-clockwise loop. There are no trail names. Took a little while to find the trail/blue blazes leading from the summit of Big Ball (Tate Mtn) leading to Black Snout. Prior to today, the trail between Big Ball (Tate) and Black Snout was not tracked. The last 0.5 miles to Mt Shaw are on a shared snowmobile trail (no snowmobile today.). Round trip took a little over 5 hours. Definitely worthy of its inclusion on the 52 with a view list especially if you do Black Snout (view towards Lake Winnipesaukee) as well as Shaw (view towards the north.)
