Terrific morning with decent views. Nice well-packed/firm trail due to trail construction and fresh coating of a dusting of snow so it was quick to ascend - skinning was excellent. I brought splitboard crampons and microspikes but did not need them. Barebooted above the top junction split. Sosman trail was broken out by skis - no problem getting up and over the hump in the middle (the one with the outlooks). Descent via ski trails which were, as expected, quite crowded. |
