Comments
Comments: The trail up to Jackson was a solid monorail, either spikes or snowshoes worked fine. From Jackson over to Webster and then back down around the loop was quite different. The snow was very soft and snowshoes were not able to pack it down. It made for more work, but very doable with spikes or snowshoes. I would definitely recommend going up Jackson first if you do the loop. There was also a lot of butt sledding on the trails which made it icier in a few spots. Despite some shifting overcasts it was a beautiful day up in the mountains!
