Parking/Access Road Notes: parked in the lot near flume gorge. 4 cars early and 3/4 full on return.

Surface Conditions: Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: small creeks down low are open with the biggest brook well bridged. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: between the two peaks are a few "easy" blowdowns and there are spruce branches sticking out into the trail.

Dog-Related Notes: I saw 2 dogs and 48 other hikers!

Comments: the trails were well packed so all of us were using spikes. the clouds were in and out and no wind, so it was a good day. everybody was working hard and seemed quite happy. I now have 18 of the 48 completed after age 70.
