Comments
Comments: Well late start to the day but headed out around 11:40am. I wore snowshoes all day since I just want my feet use to them. The about 5-6 people I saw all day only had spikes on. I saw another pair of snowshoe prints but they must have taken them off for the downhill. I heard it was windy at the top so I layered up right before I got to the cone and put all my coats on. I was able to stay up there quite toasty for about 15 minutes. Once I saw Washington out of the little cloud I headed back down. I ended up going out to bugle cliff for a view and saw only 1 lone guy going up. I was out and in my car before I knew it. Easily spikeable but again I prefer snowshoes for televators and it doesn't hinder my speed on downhill ever.
