Comments
Comments: After a fresh 2-3 inches of snow the night before, a group of us donned snowshoes at the trailhead. We passed a few people on their way back with a mix of crampons and snowshoes. Most of us kept our snowshoes on until part-way back, a few put them on at the steep ascent up Mt. Osceola. We all donned crampons for the steep descents on the return. After our group of 10 went through, trail was reasonably packed. Would recommend carrying both snowshoes and crampons.
