The road walk was packed out, although it was a bit rough and uneven. From the trailhead to the river crossing we saw minimal snow and crusty ice. The remainder of the trail was a well packed sidewalk. We saw about 3" of fresh powder near the summit, but the surface below was firm. No need for snowshoes, but wore microspikes from bottom to top. |
