Due to the damage from the parasitic postholer during the warmer weather, I'm done with this trail until we get some weather that will facilitate surface improvements.
I was unable to fix any of the damage with my snowshoes yesterday, so I attempted to Microspike this morning (with temperatures in the single digits). Ankle twisting endeavor.
Apart from the postholes and divets, there is still full snow cover.
Hopefully we get some snow soon and hopefully the Microspikers masquerading as winter hikers become more considerate of others. |
