Trailhead parking has spots for maybe 5 cars. I think I saw someone have to use the overflow parking but not sure where that is. |

A few very small streams easily stepped over. |

One blowdown about navel height. Crawled under on hands and knees. |

Great hike, very approachable. Good weather too - sunny and only periodic wind.
The trail was well packed all the way up to Waumbek (including the viewing point just beyond). If you want the Kilkenny Ridge Trail you'll be breaking trail yourself.
Trail conditions were great, I don't think any traction aids were needed. Most people were wearing microspikes (as was I) but I didn't think they were necessary. One person wearing crampons, and about half carrying snowshoes. |
