19 Mile Brook trail was a piece of cake. Spikes only up to the hut. Switched to snowshoes from there to the peak. Probably the slowest 1.2 miles I've ever hiked. Really wished I had some crampons for the way back down to the hut. Super steep. 3 or 4 involuntary butt slides that went on for much longer than I cared them to. No views from the summit on 1/28. |
