|Lost and Found:
||Snow was fairly soft at lower elevations and I was surprised to see there was probably less than 6 inches along the ski trails. The trail up to Galehead hut is very well traveled and packed down. The route up the South Twin was also (thankfully) well-packed. Between the South and North Twin there were footprints but the snow was very soft with several drifts. I'd try to keep on the rocks at the South Twin summit - there are lots of spruce traps along the East side of the rocks.|
Also be aware you may run into snowmobilers on the brief stretch of Gale River Road between Beaver Brook Ski Trails and Gale River Trail.
