Comments
Comments: Trail was barebootable first thing to Bugle Cliff. Broke from Webster-Jackson split to summit. Ledges were covered in rime and a little black ice - snowshoes provided adequate traction. On the way down, there were numerous parties of barebooters, so I suspect this trail will be barebootable (and not recommended for snowshoes) until the next snowfall. In general, snow depths ranged from 6" (near road) to 3' in gullies.
