7:30am Started out with bare boots, changed over to mini spikes at the first little wooden sign that points back to the parking lot. The trail was still pretty packed, just wanted the added traction for the slight accent ahead, was able to keep them on until the Mt.Bald spur / Kingsman Ridge junction. Tried to continue with the mini spikes but the snow really softened, changed to snow shoes about 100 feet up the trail and kept them on the rest of the way. Great time, great trail. |
