A perfect day to do this trail. It was well packed almost all of the way. We never had to use snowshoes, even though my husband carried them the whole way. We just used micro spikes. There were a few postholes that we noted on the ridge over Middle Hancock but avoidable. All the water crossings were pretty much frozen over but warmer temps will open some of them up. |
