Thanks to the people who broke out the trail after the last storm. There is a good track. Snow is well consolidated up to the beginning of the steep sections. From that point there was some drifting and unconsolidated snow. The side hilling on the steeps was not bad. There was some drifting on the ridge.
You will want snowshoes. Spikes or bare booting will lead to postholing. But all told conditions right now are about as good as they get. Great views today. One last thing take the new trail (left) near the beginning of Signal Ridge. |
