Spent the night at Lonesome Lake. Cold night but stayed warm enough. Great hospitality provided by the seasonal caretaker. Incredible stars on the hike to the Hut too! Headed up Cannon the next day. Overall packed out trails with good traction. Mix of snowshoes and microspikes works well. Only two small blow downs to manage on the ridge. Cold view from the top. Tram was closed but found a sheltered spot for lunch. Sun felt great on the way down. |
