| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parked exactly 1 mile south of junction of US 302 & NH 142 (Bethlehem), by the mailbox. Really only room for one car. After the hike, I tried shoveling the snowbank back to make more room and got about another half car length's worth before I started hitting about a foot of rock hard old stuff. So if you have two cars, bring a pick AND a shovel!! (Note this WOULD be a better option than using the next driveway down. I'm told those folks don't want you to park in their mailbox turnaround spot. |

Now has several inches of snow. Good snowshoeing currently. It's basically broken out by a combo of sled use, and maybe a snowmobile.
I was glad I did a little research on this one first. Good writeup on 1HappyHiker blog; pictures are helpful. |
