I had the entire mountain to myself today. Snowshoes car-to-car, and I broke trail the whole way. The summit of Mt. Mexico is wooded, so there are no views there, but I did spy some majestic views through the trees on the descent. The cave was pretty well snowed in, so I didn’t get in much exploring there. I’d like to come back in the Summer to get the full effect. Use caution on windy days, as I saw a couple branches blow down. |
