Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: When I arrived this morning around 7:30am, the parking area had not been plowed, so I parked on the shoulder. When I left around 3pm, the lot still hadn't been plowed, but people with 4-wheel drives had made it up into the parking lot.

Comments
Comments: Until I made it to the campsite on Isolation trail by Rocky Branch, I was breaking trail for this most recent snowstorm. For the Engine Hill bushwhack, I did my best to follow yesterday's group's tracks, but they were often very hard to follow and I've never done that whack before. I ended up meandering around in the middle, until I found my way back to their tracks. Once I made it up to the campsite by Rocky Branch, I encountered two men who had camped out last night and then snowshoed up to Isolation today by the main trail. Since they'd already broken trail and I couldn't find the second bushwhack, I just followed Isolation to Davis Path, taking the longer but broken out trail. On my way back down, I saw two other folks snowshoeing for the summit, but those 4 people were the only folks I saw today. Despite the work we all did to pack down the snow, the wind was doing its best to cover over our footsteps - on the way back down, I often was looking at untouched powder over the trail.
