Out-and-back to Hale and Zealand. Broke out Lend-A-Hand from summit of Hale to about 1/2 mile above the Hut where I encountered 2 others going in the opposite direction. Very thankful to have had 2 people ahead of me breaking trail on Twinway up to Zeacliff. Broke out Twinway from Zeacliff to Zealand. Twinway from Zealand heading toward Guyot had not been broken out when I was there. Met 3 others on the way back. A nice track was forming and there should be a decent base under the new snow. Saw a lot of people headed up to the Hut on the way out. |
