Comments
Comments: I did out and back. Trail was broken out, but between the summits needed some new breaking of trail. I had the trail to myself! Started seeing people coming up on the last 3 miles. There was about 12. Half were wearing boots/traction and others were wearing snowshoes. The bare boots were post holing 3-4in and were wrecking the monorail (annoying). It's winter: wear your snowshoes.

Some of the ascents were tricky. I wore Dions and I should have worn my MSRs. I almost switched to crampons due to the ice, but I didn't want to change and change again. I did major butt sliding on the way down. It worked great! Temps were very cold, but perfect hiking day!
