Comments
Comments: Excellent day with varied conditions..dry on Blueberry ledge to the lower ledges..some black ice to the cutoff jct..Snow started around 2500 feet..never more than 4-6 inches anywhere on this route.. Ledges had ice and snow but microspikes and helping hands..thanks Tim and the young lady who offered Val and Sandy her leg..made them okay.. Microspikes perfect footware today though for a time in mid afternoon we all got some snow balls as the temps rose. Glad we left the snowshoes in the car as they would have been severe overkill on this hike..just a perfect day to be out in the Whites with great views..moderate temps and light winds
