Comments
Comments: The route to Lonesome Lake was very well packed down. I got an early start and wound up being the second one up to the Kinsmans today starting at Fishin Jimmy, first in snowshoes so I was pretty much breaking trail the whole way. In most areas there is only 5-6 inches of snow without ice underneath so the steep rocky bits up Fishin Jimmy were very challenging in snowshoes. On the way back down the trail was very packed down thanks to about 10-12 additional hikers coming through and I was able to return to spikes.

I originally intended to make a loop starting with Hi-Cannon trail but saw that nobody had been up it since the snow and decided to skip. On my way back down it looked like maybe one snowshoer had gone up today.

All of this will be obsolete tomorrow morning post-snowstorm.
