Comments
Comments: About 1-3 inches of new snow on these trails. Snowshoes could work but I chose to tempt fate in bare boots. Otter Pond was a minimalist landscape with the falling snow obscuring views to the other side. Ridge Trail passes just shy of the summit of an unnamed 1,300-ish ft. hill which has been logged over in the past. I did a short bushwhack to the wooded high point. Also on Ridge Trail is an alleged view over Sunapee Lake which is indicated on signage, but that must have been long ago. No view now. A nice little trail system excellently maintained by the New London Conservation Commission.
