| Comments: |
Took ski trails (ski area closed...bottom of Mt. Tecumseh Trail appears to have patchy snow) up to the first viewpoint on the Mt. Tecumseh Trail. Wall to wall, top to bottom spring snow coverage on the ski trails. Snowshoes probably the easiest form of transportation. From viewpoint to ridge, Mt. Tecumseh Trail was wall to wall, top to bottom spring snow. Some monorail forming up on the ridge. Sosman Trail to summit has some narrow monorail in places. Mt. Tecumseh Trail from ridge to summit has seen little use this winter/spring due to the corridor being filled with branches and blowdown - now smooth sailing on frozen granular base. Sosman Trail to top of ski area hasn't seen too much use lately - spring snow/frozen granular in places, snowshoes a good idea. Wall to wall, top to bottom coverage down ski area from Sosman Trail. |
