Comments
Comments: We went in and out on Dicey's Mill to avoid the possibly very icy ledges. Did a short bushwack on Rollins to avoid the section that comes uncomfortably close to the edge of the bowl. Doing the Rollins in both directions makes one appreciate only having to go down it on the normal route up Blueberry Ledge to Whiteface. The snowshoes went for a ride, and we got some extra exercise carrying them. The trail was hard packed snow, with intermittent stretches of hard ice--usually on the steep sections, of course.
