| Comments: |
I did the loop in 5 1/2 hours and stayed in spikes the full RT from the parking lot. Left the snowshoes at home based on the previous days review. Trail is extremely well packed but not that smooth due to previous post-holers. With any additional snow I would recommend full Crampons vs spikes as the ice is going to get buried and spikes wont work that well. On the upper portions you could have used full crampons today. |
