Comments
Comments: Sawyer River road a mixture of dry roadbed and hard pack snowmobile trail..Barebootable.
Put on snowshoes past the bridge and had them on all the way. Water crossings encountered were low and easily done..some of the small runoffs had deteriorating bridges and required big steps. Long sidehill switchback was pretty solid tho narrow. Snowshoes the footware of choice..postholed several times with them if you ventured a bit off the rail . Gorgeous as always on Signal Ridge..Trail meanders a bit to summit but fine...Excellent views today in only light winds. Great tele-shoeing down in ideal spring conditions...Nice day out with Val, Cynthia, Hannah and Sarah who completed her second round today..woo hoo!
