| Comments: |
The trail is extremely icy at the lower elevations, made even icier by the light dusting of snow last night. Deliberate careful foot placement required in many places. Above the ski glades there is more snow and the conditions get much better. I used microspikes, which were not ideal; a better choice would have been a trail crampon. |
