| Comments: |
I was unsure of trail conditions after the warm weekend so I carried heavy this morning: snowshoes, crampons, spikes, and axe but I only used spikes from start to finish (hillsounds). Trail was packed solid, there was ice heading up Eisenhower but spikes worked just fine. Summits were finished by 9am or so-so if things start to warm up snowshoes would be a better choice between Pierce and Eisenhower. |
