| Comments: |
The trail is hard packed until about 3,200 ft. Above 3,200 some postholes, puddles, running water and ice to go along with the soft snow. It was quite a mess. There were three crossings that were difficult, one of the bridges had failed by the time I descended. Rushing water on two of them, my feet were very wet. Extremely windy but warm on the summit today. Saw six other hikers.
It might be best to wait for colder temps to go to Jackson on the W-J Trail. |
