parking is potentially problematic. we parked at the snow plow turn around on thorn hill road a short distance up hill from the start of the trail. if not doing it during a storm or when they area doing clean up it's likely not going to cause any problems, but is technically frowned upon by the town. |

a fairly thin layer of wet sticky snow all the way. coverage got thinner with some ice, bare ground and ledge in the steeper sections higher up. we snowshoed up and used spikes for safer footing on the way down. |
