Lots of small brooks on Gale River showing through. Mostly easy step overs but dodgy here and there. |

One person seen all day , he was ahead of us and did only Garfield. We broke out Garfield Ridge Tr over to Galehead, 6-16†deep. No one had been on Gale River recently but Trail easy to follow and fairly well packed under a few inches of new snow. |
