Drove up Round Pond Road; turn R at fork at south end of pond; drove past boat ramp, and parked on the east side of the pond, at a large plowed out area across from a log cabin (where we were able to get 3 cars off the road). The plowed area was at the base of a logging area of sorts. |

Followed a fairly straight NE'ly line towards peak through open logging regrowth and woods. Snow was deep. Nice woods on the summit. Found the canister.
Three of us headed back out. Four friends traversed over to Corkscrew Mtn. and out a car we had spotted for them.
