Drove up Round Pond Road (plowed as there are lots of camps in there); turned left at the fork at the south end of the pond. Parked along the road, in areas where we felt cars could get around us. |

We parked at the SW corner of the Pond, along the road, spacing our cars out so that anyone driving up the road could get around us. (That said, there was no one staying at any of the camps.)
Walked up the road a little bit further, then after a short bit, heading westerly into the woods, then southerly to the peak. We had a nice line that avoided the steep cliffy areas by going a bit West before heading directly to the peak. Steep, but nice woods.
We intersected with the Cohos Trail up the on the summit. Also, near the summit there was a view ledge with nice views down to the First CT Lake.
