Comments
Comments: Large parking area off of River road on the west side of the CT river. Walked across bridge (snomo). Turned south onto snomo Rt. 140s (aka, Cohos Tr. / Lake Frances Tr.). On maps, you will see two roads heading south. The road closest to the CT river is the snomo corridor. The road a short bit "upslope" is a logging road that was unbroken and not authorized for snomo use.

At 1.1 mi., we set off uphill, NE'ly on a slightly overgrown logging road; after 0.15 mi., we intersected with a nicer, wide logging road that was unbroken. This road is evident on the maps.

We followed this road E'ly uphill, past a gate, and up to the SW of the peak, from where we bushwhacked to the summit through nice woods.

Just under 5 miles RT, almost half of which was on snomo trail.

Great crew: JEM3, Fran M., Schorman, Bill C., Damon, & Campsite (P&F).
