Comments
Comments: Great day to trail run in the whites. Packed trail with new powder on top about 3-4 inches on average. Big drifts at the top near the junction for pierce, about thigh deep. I only wore hillsound trail crampons since I was running however snowshoes a little before treeline would’ve been nice if I was hiking but I managed. Any less traction and you will slid as I did slightly at times due to new snow which slowed my ascent. Descent was FAST and FUN. 30 minutes to send it down ;) only saw one person all day. Get it while it’s hot folks.
