Plenty of parking beyond the gate and the F&G officer told me that they didn't close the gate; the only thing is that parking is only at the spot half way between the gate and the trailhead (1.8 miles?). So you'll have that extra walk (which can be tough, haha) |

Beyond the cabin, the trail was "lost", but it wasn't difficult to find (even at night, when I hiked it); but the cairn, that is just a ways beyond the sign marking the "summit" was pretty much buried under snow. |
