Comments
Comments: Bring ya snowshoes. It was a long day in shoes with mixed conditions. Black Pond BW has some muddy side hills but mostly avoidable. Brutus BW could really use a redirect. We followed snowshoe prints from the day before. It led to a complete stop at about 3500'. Guy in front of us clearly turned back. We fought a nasty scrub patch for a little bit and popped on the trail further up than anticipated. Ridge was DEEP with powder but it was a pleasant surprise after Brutus.
