The snow from last night had nearly totally covered the previous tracks. We had to break the trail again. The trail under treeline was well marked by yellow glazes. When we arrived above treeline... Cairns were small and previous tracks were nearly invisible. We cleared as much as we could the cairns. We made it to cardigan and return back... The wind was terribly cold! A group of 6 barebooters arrived... Repacking the snow again! Now trail is broken and easy to follow. |
