Great for dogs. Only saw 2 others on the way out. Warm enough that there were no iceballs on paws, water to drink, snow to play in. What could be better? |

Great day for these peaks. And about 2 dozen people thought the same thing. I went up the north slide and down the south. The entire route was filled in with snow and nicely packed down. I put spikes on at the car and carried snow shoes. I can see how butt sliding down south peak can make the trail really difficult when it freezes solid. It wasn’t too bad today. Poles were the handy item of the day. Lots of nice people out today. My thanks for their patience while I’m training my young dog. |
