Comments
Comments: This was a great day to summit Jefferson. Temp was 25-34, light snow, and later rain. Trail was packed down all the way up Jewell until it rose above tree line. Then it was difficult to follow the trail, but didn't matter much. We did the shortcut from the Jewell to the Gulfside, and was able to identify Gulfside with some care based upon the cairns. Snow shoe tracks were seen intermittently. We saw 8 people on trail total. Time on trail 7.5 hours.
