Trail is in great shape and was packed down better than I anticipated considering it was snowing most of new years day. I opted for snowshoes on the way up. The only time you truly need them is up on the ridge. Once I got off the ridge I bare booted down the mountain. Some traction could've been helpful for the steepest descents but I survived without making the switch (this time...) |
